A typical Chicago-area venue charges separately for the hall, the caterer, the bar, the linens, the staff, and the coordination — and you end up signing four or five different contracts. We do it differently. At Maravela’s, the hall, the dinner, the bar, the people serving your guests, and the team coordinating the whole night are all included in one transparent per-person rate.
You sign one contract. You work with one coordinator. And the price we quote you on your tour is the price you’ll see on the final invoice. That’s how we’ve done it since 1982.

The Hall
Six-hour evening reception in your own private ballroom with its own bar and dance floor.

The Experience
From the first tour to the last dance.
Your tour is free, takes about an hour, and there’s no pressure to book. We walk you through each of our three private ballrooms, talk through your timing, your guest count, and your menu — and put a real price in front of you.
Between booking and your wedding day, you’ll work with one coordinator. Same person at the tasting, same person at the rehearsal, same person at the reception. We handle the timeline, the vendor logistics, the room flip, and the dinner service — so you and your family are free to be fully present.
And the next morning, you go home. We handle the rest.

The all-inclusive rate covers the hall, dinner, bar service, professional staff, linens, china, setup, and full breakdown. Yes. We host ceremonies in the same room as the reception (an in-room ceremony) or in a separate room that we flip while your guests enjoy cocktails. Both options include the seating, the setup, and the breakdown. Your coordinator will walk you through the timing on your tour.

Yes. Every dish on your wedding menu is prepared in our kitchen by our own cooks. What you taste at your tasting is exactly what your guests are served on the night of the event — same recipe, same kitchen, same people. The only food we don’t make ourselves is the cake or sweets station, when clients choose to bring those in.
